Building in interactivities can be an interesting way of keeping up the interest of learners. Not to forget, 'WIIFM' and 'My Thoughts' works whether it's a digital or a physical session. Interactivities like Polls, Surveys, Live Quiz with Leaderboard, acknowledging contributions by name, asking participants their challenges and engaging all in finding a solution -- one of these, and more, once every 10-15 min can keep the energy and fun up!

Based on my experience, here's what actually works to get disengaged learners back on track: Break Things Up - I've found that chunking long lessons into 10-15 minute bits keeps learners focused. Make it Social - Group work really transforms things. Even simple peer discussions bring life to the class/module - learners who barely spoke started contributing once they had to interact. Get Personal - Quick weekly check-ins make a huge difference. Just a 5-minute chat about their progress helps spot issues early. Learners appreciate knowing someone's paying attention. Mix Up Activities - Adding quick polls, mini-quizzes between topics keeps them alert. I saw way better engagement when I stopped relying just on slides.

Keeping learners engaged in digital learning can be tricky, but adding real-world applications and interactive elements really helps! Bringing in case studies and problem-solving exercises that relate to everyday life shows learners the practical side of what they're studying. Using live polls, quizzes, or discussion forums also keeps them actively participating. If you're looking for a tool to create these interactive features, H5P is a great option! It integrates with popular LMS platforms, so you can easily add quizzes, flashcards, and other interactive content directly into your courses. Little tweaks like these go a long way in keeping learning dynamic and fun.

As someone who was not a huge fan of digital learning, I understand the pain of people that give a *big sigh* every time they are voluntold to take a digital learning or training. Here are some ways I’ve been able to reignite learners: - Gamification is a huge part of learning engagement and keeps retention high when sprinkled throughout. - Having a worksheet or “follow-me” guide to show the story of the content we’re trying to teach. - Role-playing to practicing what they’ve learned which allows learners to make mistakes before they go back into their jobs.
-
Gamification can help learners keep their interest in learning. It may involve awarding learners while completing units of lesson, playing quiz, submitting assignments etc. One important thing is there should be provision to complete a lesson and move to next. This gives learners sense of achievement. For admins of LMS, they can see detailed reports based on completion of courses.
