Conflict is part and parcel of healthy business. It helps us to keep our energy levels. But if the conflicts happens over a long of period of time, then it is time for leaders to solve the root cause. I had experienced a situation in which Talent management team is supposed to be updating both the Project teams and Talent Acquistion team about the validity of Demands and status of Fulfilment. But we found that the TA team was not sharing the status on external hiring. This was not updated in system for long time say 7-8 months. We found that TA team was doing this to get more visiblity. The memont we understood this, we made efforts to appreciate our TA teams for their contribution in adding new associates to team. The problen got solved.

Managing conflicts over varying software skills starts with creating a supportive learning environment. I encourage team members with advanced skills to mentor others, fostering collaboration instead of competition. I also provide training resources tailored to different skill levels, so everyone can grow at their own pace. Clear role assignments based on strengths help reduce friction, while regular check-ins ensure progress and address any frustrations. By focusing on growth and teamwork, we turn skill gaps into opportunities for team building.
