At Cherno Industrial, to track urgent repair impacts on our maintenance plans, we implement a robust tracking system: Immediate Documentation: Log urgent repairs in our maintenance management system. Impact Assessment: Review the maintenance calendar to identify delays. Communication: Inform stakeholders about changes. Prioritization: Ensure urgent repairs are prioritized without compromising critical tasks. Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously track progress and update stakeholders, generating a final report post-repair to document any deviations. This structured approach helps us manage both urgent and routine tasks efficiently.

There is a five step guide that I would recommend. 1.Log Repairs:Record every urgent repair in a journal or digital tool. 2. Adjust Schedule:Update the maintenance schedule to reflect changes. 3.Prioritize Tasks:Focus on the most critical repairs first. 4.Communicate: Keep the team informed about changes. 5. Analyze Impact, Review how the urgent repairs affect the overall maintenance plan. By staying organized and communicating effectively, all repairs and maintenances can effectively be carried out.

You need to have a clear understanding of how productive, in terms of time, each equipment is to the final product. There needs to be a log of uptime lost because of the repair and also the labour and replacement costs. Lastly would be to consider incurred expenses related to downtime, or what would have been produced by the equipment. More integrated processes will rely more heavily on each of its components, and therefore cause more of an impact.

80/20 maintenance planning . 20% to accommodate unplanned urgent repairs apart from the 80% planned task. Pre inspections are key to minimize unplanned break downs and repairs.

THE IMPACT IS SEEN WITH HIGH MAINTENANCE DEMAND, HIGH COST AND LOSSES CAUSED TO PRODUCTION, DUE TO MACHINE DOWNTIME. IN THIS DEVELOP AN ACTION PLAN STARTING WITH CORRECTION STATISTICS, SOLVE CRITICAL AND URGENT CASES, UNDERSTAND THE ROUTINE OF SERVICE TO THE EQUIPMENT AND BRING DEFINITIVE SOLUTIONS FOR THE CORRECTIONS, START A SCHEDULE OF PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF LUBRICATION PLANS, CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS ALONG WITH OPERATIONAL TRAINING.THUS, WE WILL FOLLOW THE SEQUENCE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF CORRECTIVE, PREVENTIVE AND PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE. ONE WILL ALWAYS BE THE SEQUEL TO THE OTHER.
