The healthcare system is a very rigid one, with the younger generation eager to bring technology into the existing framework, while the older generation often resists these changes. However, the best way to start making progress is by showing the elders the positive side of technology, supported by physical evidence. I know it will take time, but they will eventually understand its benefits. It's important to give them the time they need to adapt and not rush into things.

Senior staff should be educated that the new healthcare protocols is for the best interest of the facility and for all staff and for that reason must be adhered to. This will help them meet new trends in the healthcare community and that it’s in compliance with International Health standards. Senior staff should be made aware of the new protocols improving their competencies

Understanding their concerns helps to tackle their fears about patient safety, workflow disruption, data security, or loss of clinical autonomy etc. Emphasizing on how the technology supports better patient outcomes or makes routine tasks more efficient will help ease up push backs. Practical trainings of how the new technology works will further help to convince the senior staff on its efficacy.
