As a producer, my job is to create a safe, stimulating atmosphere that involves balancing safety protocols with a supportive environment. I establish safety guidelines, and make sure all crew members are trained and aware of these protocols. I promote open communication by encouraging actors and crew to voice concerns without fear of judgment. I have regular safety briefings that highlight the creative vision, allowing everyone to understand how safety enhances the creative process. I make sure to provide comfortable spaces for relaxation and ideation. By prioritizing safety while promoting creativity, I can cultivate a productive and inspiring atmosphere for everyone involved.

Maintaining a balance between safety and creativity on a film set is essential for both the well being of crew and creative vision. 1. Stunt Sequences:During an action scene involving a car chase, professional stunt coordinators and safety harnesses are used to minimize risks. 2. Lighting Setup:Heavy lights are securely rigged with sandbags and safety cables to prevent accidents. 3. Weather Challenges:If filming outdoors during heavy rain or strong winds, the shoot might be paused to avoid equipment damage or injury. 4. Set Design and Props:Breakaway glass is used instead of real glass in fight sequences. 5. Fatigue Management:Crew members are given adequate breaks and proper work hours to prevent exhaustion, especially during night shoots.

I foster creative energy by making safety part of the storytelling. For example, Nolan used real aircraft explosions in Dunkirk with strict safety planning, creating authentic tension while protecting the crew. I encourage open forums where crew members can innovate around constraints, like suggesting alternative camera angles to achieve risky shots safely. Scheduling creative breaks or team-building activities keeps morale high. Recognizing crew efforts publicly, such as an "on-set MVP," reinforces a culture where safety and creativity thrive together.

Filmmaking is truly a collaborative art form and thus those I work with are constantly on the look out for those who can help us elevate our craft and safety is a priority in all we do and we ask for help in advance. Pre Production is where true magic hides and the key is to ask for assistance when time allows
