One thing that I found helpful was to consider the use of finite element techniques during the optimization stage. With this, it's possible to generate geometries that will actually comply with further imposed requirements. Project outcomes are vastly improved and the collection of these valuable data can also be of interest if the customer wants to introduce the use of AI in the design process.
