I do agree the statement listed here. Actually if you don't find the the cause and again you don't make enough research to find out the real need for both parties, you can't resolve the conflict amicably.

To resolve a conflict during a presentation, you need to get to the root cause. The ideal way to do that is to: 1. Don't let them see you sweat. You need to remain calm and composed. 2. Ask questions to get to the root case. Sometimes it is simply a misunderstanding. 3. Find a a way to compromise where you can both agree on the next steps.
