One thing I’ve noticed helps is delegation. Delegate or Automate When Possible • If someone else can do it, You let them. No need to be a hero. • If you do the same thing over and over, find a way to automate it. Another is • I keep people updated so they know when to expect things (and don’t keep chasing me). • If I’m overloaded, I speak up—better to adjust deadlines than deliver bad work. I’m sure many others will say other useful things. These are my 2 cents as an Administrative Assistant

One thing I’ve found helpful is blocking out time for deep work early in the day, before the noise kicks in. I also keep a running list of priorities, sorted loosely by impact, so I’m not constantly re-deciding what matters.

Staying organized under multiple deadlines requires structure and discipline. Utilizing task management tools like Trello or Asana helps track priorities and ensures nothing is overlooked. Breaking tasks into smaller, actionable steps allows for steady progress and prevents feeling overwhelmed. Implementing time blocking—dedicating specific periods for focused work—enhances efficiency and minimizes distractions. Ultimately, maintaining a proactive approach and a clear system makes managing multiple deadlines more manageable and less stressful.
