Consider the following: * Personalisation: Use data to segment donors and personalize communications based on their interests and giving history; and let it help you recall important dates and milestones (i.e. significant birthdays) * Engagement tracking: Monitor donor interactions (emails, website visits, etc.) to understand preferences and tailor content. * Multi-channel approach: Connect with donors through their preferred channels (email, social media, text). * Storytelling: Leverage technology to share impactful stories and demonstrate the impact of donor contributions. * Interactive experiences: Offer virtual tours, online events, or personalized giving platforms to deepen engagement.

I would use a blockchain-based game that lets players invest in real-world humanitarian projects transparently. Players choose where funds go, like water access or education, ensuring contributions align with their preferences, recorded immutably on the blockchain. Through token purchases, players support specific families or projects in underserved areas. Tokens increase in value, allowing reinvestment or withdrawal, with smart contracts ensuring security. Future VR/AR features will allow players to witness their impact, fostering connection. Using Algorand for transactions ensures low energy use and prevents central control, promoting trust and transparency in charitable giving.

Technology is super handy to keep track and make sure that there are regular, tailored communications with donors — but nothing beats personal connection, whether that’s a phone call, a face-to-face dinner, or an opportunity for a donor tour. I’d use technology to segment appropriately - so that you can be strategic with your time, and connect with individuals whom you want to nurture and focus on. However - don’t assume that simply means all your attention goes to HNWI! A small, longtime donor can be far more valuable to an organisation than a one-off large donation. We want to focus on those with quality or potential quality of engagement (which can be more than money).
