When I disagree with other UX designers on information architecture (IA) decisions, my approach is to always go back to the core project goals and, most importantly, the needs of the user. To ensure that user experience goals are met, I follow these steps: I make sure that decisions are based on research, usability testing, and real data reflecting how users navigate and understand the structure. This helps focus the discussion on evidence. I encourage an open, constructive discussion where each team member can voice their ideas and concerns. Sometimes a workshop or brainstorming session can help explore solutions that meet both user needs and the team's perspectives.
