In my experience “a picture is worth a thousand words”. Most people are more sensitive to visual information, that means that they remember information better when it is displayed in a visual form. Also if you need to refresh the knowledge, it is much faster to check a couple of pictures or a short video then read long description.

Considero muito importante usar recursos que ajudem a entender visualmente o que está acontecendo por meio de fluxogramas, diagramas, imagens, animações etc. No contexto do ecossistema Apple gosto muito do recurso do Swift Playgrounds que permite a partir de poucos códigos entender visualmente o que está acontecendo. Um exemplo seria um loop criado. Essa ferramenta permite que dependendo do loop um gráfico ilustrando como está a atualização de alguma variável seja apresentado. Tal gráfico permite inclusive interações que contribuem para entender qual o valor da variável por iteração. Isso não eh ótimo recurso para aprendizado?! :)
