    Things I find useful in balancing my day to day workload is, priorities. Me working in industrial/manufacturing maintenance is to focus on the equipment that is operational critical. In my field, if the machines are not running, no one is going making a living. Observe and learn the crucial equipment first, either by hands on learning or documentation. This is especially true when replacing or updating newly installed equipment. That is a huge investment for the employer and employees, especially with the way equivalent and technology is constantly being improved upon.
