$\begingroup$ They won't be appearing out of nowhere, they'll be apparently arriving on trucks (with fully covered cargo trays). The trucks will mostly be empty (don't forget to adjust the suspension to make them look like they are heavily loaded on the way in and empty on the way out). And/or at least some of the trips the trucks can be bringing in the fittings for the underground base - cabling, wall panels, plumbing, structural supports etc $\endgroup$
