Today Russia deliberately targeted a busy shopping center in Dobropillia, Donetsk region, dropping a 500-kilogram aerial bomb on the crowded area. Two people were killed and at least 27 were injured. Officials say more victims may remain trapped under the rubble, and search-and-rescue operations continue at the site. The strike damaged at least 54 retail outlets, 304 apartments across 13 residential buildings, and eight vehicles. This is yet another horrific crime committed by Russia. We urge our partners to impose stronger sanctions on Russia. Russia will not stop unless it is met with firm international pressure.

Razem. Разом. Kartu. Today in Lublin, the Foreign Ministers of the Lublin Triangle member states – 🇵🇱 Radosław Sikorski, 🇺🇦 Andrii Sybiha, and 🇱🇹 Kęstutis Budrys – met to discuss key regional issues and to reaffirm the close cooperation within the format, which has been in place for five years now. Lublin Triangle remains a crucial platform for advancing common policies and providing steadfast support to Ukraine. We continue strengthening our regional security, defending against Russia’s war, disinformation and historical manipulations, as well as applying maximum pressure on the aggressor. 🇺🇦 On July 16, 1990, the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine was adopted. The Declaration proclaimed the supremacy, independence, and indivisibility of Ukraine’s power, the right of the Ukrainian people to self-determination, their own citizenship, economic and cultural independence, as well as the right to establish direct relations with other states. This document laid the legal and political foundations to restore Ukraine’s independence on August 24, 1991. Today, as Ukraine has been defending against Russia's aggression for over 11 years, we are once again proving to the entire world that our sovereignty is a value we are ready to protect. Ukrainians are defending not only for their land, but also for the right to live freely, speak their language, and develop their own culture.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha had a meeting with US Presidential Envoy Keith Kellogg and thanked him for joining Ukrainians on Statehood Day, as well as for his recent participation in the Coalition of the Willing meeting in Rome. Following Keith Kellogg’s meeting with President Zelenskyy yesterday, he reaffirmed Ukraine's continued commitment to peace efforts aimed at bringing the war to an end and restoring peace: 💬 "We are grateful to President Trump for his pivotal decision to provide, together with European allies, new Patriot systems and other weapons. We discussed ways to expand the mutually beneficial Ukrainian-American defense cooperation, welcomed the bipartisan momentum behind the Sanctioning Russia Act of 2025, and coordinated further steps to increase the cost of war for the aggressor. Despite what Russian propaganda claims, Russia is not winning and Ukraine is not losing this war. In fact, despite vast resources and losses, Moscow has failed to achieve a single strategic goal. Now is the time to advance peace through strength: expand Ukraine's capabilities and increase transatlantic pressure to force Russia to end its war of aggression", Andrii Sybiha stated.

Russia’s war against Ukraine shook the world and broke the rules of international law. And it demands justice. It demands that Putin be prosecuted in The Hague Today, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the Agreement on establishing the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression committed by Russia against Ukraine. Earlier, Ukraine and the Council of Europe signed the agreement to create this Special Tribunal in The Hague – the first tribunal focused on the crime of aggression since World War II. It is designed to prosecute top Russian leaders for the war they started. Putin and Russia's top leaders must be held fully accountable.

Today, we mark Ukrainian Statehood Day. This day is not only about the present – it is about over a thousand years of our statehood, from the times of medieval Rus to the Ukraine of today. On this day, we honour Volodymyr the Great, who in 988 adopted Christianity – a choice that laid the foundations for our state. Ukrainian statehood has proved stronger than any invader. It lives on in our trident – a symbol dating back to the Rus era – in the blue and yellow of our flag, and in our songs, poems, and national spirit. Ukraine has existed, exists today, and will continue to exist. And today, Ukrainians stand with weapons in hand to defend not only our present and future, but also our past – our identity, history, and values.

In London’s Trafalgar Square, world heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk and Sir Richard Branson unveiled the Boryviter mosaic 🇺🇦 The project has been implemented with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine 🇺🇦🇬🇧 To draw global attention to Ukrainian culture, Ukraine’s largest online marketplace ROZETKA, together with the NGO “UKRAINE WOW” and the Alla Horska and Viktor Zaretskyi Foundation, meticulously restored the mosaic panel. Fifteen monumental artists and researchers worked on the recreation. The newly restored Boryviter was first exhibited in Kyiv, with London as the first European capital on its international tour. The unveiling brought together British parliamentarians, Ukrainian diplomats, and cultural figures. Among those in attendance were Justine Simons, London’s Deputy Mayor for Culture and the Creative Industries, and Alex Sobel, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ukraine and Member of the UK Parliament. ℹ️ The event was organised by the Oleksandr Usyk Foundation and British-Ukrainian Aid with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, members of the UK Parliament, and the London Mayor’s Office. The original Boryviter mosaic was created in the summer of 1967 under the direction of renowned Ukrainian artist Alla Horska. She was one of the leaders of the Sixtiers movement and was killed by Soviet security services three years later. In 2022, the mosaic was badly damaged in Mariupol during Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Between intense fighting, Ukrainian defenders find comfort in looking at pictures of their children and grandchildren on their phones. Each Ukrainian soldier’s story carries the weight of a future they are protecting. Children growing up under the sound of sirens remind us of what is truly at stake in this war. This is what Ukraine is fighting for – the right of its children to live safely in their own country, to grow up without fear, and to build lives defined by freedom. Every sacrifice is made for the day when childhood in Ukraine no longer unfolds beneath the sound of explosions.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Keith Kellogg, the U.S. Special Envoy. 💬 "We discussed the path to peace and what we can practically do together to bring it closer. This includes strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, joint production, and procurement of defense weapons in collaboration with Europe. And of course, sanctions against Russia and those who help it. We hope for U.S. leadership, as it is clear that Moscow will not stop unless its unreasonable ambitions are curbed through strength. I thank Keith Kellogg for this visit to Ukraine. I am grateful to President Trump for the important signals of support and the positive decisions for both our countries. We deeply value the support of the American people", the President stressed.

🇺🇦🇪🇺 Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha: "I am grateful to Kaja Kallas for inviting me to join online tomorrow’s EU Foreign Affairs Council. I will thank the EU and its member states for their support and urge bold steps to strengthen Ukraine and all of Europe. It is time to adopt tough sanctions on Moscow and synchronise pressure with the United States. We need to enforce all sanctions to the fullest and also deprive Russia of its oil revenues used for war. It is time to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and scale up investment in the Ukrainian high-tech defense industry. It is time to ensure maximum transatlantic unity, as well as unity inside the EU. This is especially relevant regarding long-overdue steps to advance Ukraine’s EU accession. We count on the Danish EU presidency and Denmark’s leadership to advance necessary decisions in areas of defense, deterrence, and enlargement."
