We are looking to implement a calendar within the Power Platform that offers an annual view, similar to the one shown above. Do you know of a more suitable solution—one that better aligns with business needs—within the Power Platform ecosystem (Power Apps – Canvas or Model-Driven –, SharePoint lists, Power BI, or any other relevant approach)?6Views0likes0CommentsCreate a SharePoint list with documents from multiple libraries
Hi there, I have a set of 7-8 documents libraries containing documents that need to be updated regularly by various subject matter experts (SMEs) in my organisation. These individuals are listed in the metadata of each document in a 'person or group' column. It's important that we keep the data in this format as we use Microsoft approvals set up to manage the reviews. Another key consideration is that the person listed change fairly regularly as people leave the firm and roles and responsibilities change. What I would like to do is create a SharePoint list that lists each document across the libraries and which people are assigned as the reviewers. Can anyone help me with this? I understand that the lookup column doesn't support the 'people or group' data type. I have seen suggestions for setting up dynamic filtering but this might be a bit cumbersome given the number of document libraries. I could potentially use a Power Automate workflow but am not very literate in this platform so would need pretty detailed instructions. Any help would be much appreciated!27Views0likes1CommentNested Dynamic Filtering on web parts does not work
I created a Sharepoint page and added an MS list web part, which I use as a "filter" selection. Then, I added a second MS list to display the main list of content items, configured with Dynamic filtering based on selecting the "filter" list. Then, I added a Document library web part, which is again configured with Dynamic Filtering based on the selection of the second content item list. Unfortunately, when you select an item from the "filter" list and then select an item from the second "content" list, the document library does not update based on the selection. HOWEVER.. If I select an item from the second "content" list without selecting an item from the "filter" list, the document library updates and shows the filtered content correctly. Any idea why it would not work and how to fix this? Seems like it should work732Views1like18CommentsHow approves or users can see all the pending approval requests?
We have 10++ sites and on some lists and libraries, inside those sites we define content approval at the list/library level:- Now the users are bit confused, on how they can access those approval requests? is there a screen they can access to see all those pending approval requests? either for all sites or the current site? as currently most of the items and files are pending approval and no one is taking action on them Thanks126Views0likes1CommentClassic Site With Modern Libraries Not Templating To Modern Libraries
Users have one main site collection and create multiple sub sites using classic site template. Users converted libraries to modern experience in site used as template. After saving the site as template and creating new site using that template, we expected the new site would retain libraries modern experience and custom formatting settings but these settings/configurations are not templating over to new site. Wondering if somebody has similar experience and share any workarounds. Currently we are looking at either using script to modify the configuration or manually doing it after creating new site from classic site template. Any thoughts?24Views0likes0CommentsSharePoint list threshold limit
Hi We run an access database connected to SharePoint online lists. One of the lists has 16000 items and I need to add an additional field (type lookup) but when trying to add this get an error saying "the attempted operation is prohibited because it exceeds the list view threshold" I can't seem to find a way to increase the 5000 threshold limit to get around this. Is the only option to removed items to get the limit under 5000 to then be able to add a field? (we can't create a new list and copy the data in as the autonumber ID from the existing list is used in the database) Any suggestions would be appreciated!1.2KViews1like2CommentsCreate content type from content type gallery, grand parent content type not bring down to site

Hello, My SharePoint list had 3.5k rows and recently did a huge cleanup and deleted almost half of it. It now currently has 1.6k items. I have exported that SharePoint list to an excel file but when I hit Refresh All in the file, it still has 3.5k line items and still hasn't updated. I did the update around 2pm CST yesterday, and as of writing this it is currently 8:30am CST the next day. I don't understand how when I export to CSV, everything is updated but when I export a new file to Excel or when I refresh my old export that is still linked to my SharePoint list, it isn't updating. Please help. Thank you!53Views0likes1CommentSharepoint CommandbarProps - looking for "Approve/Reject"
