Channel insights sharing setting gives eligible YouTube Partner Program (YPP) creators an easier way to share aggregated channel insights in YouTube Studio to help third-party advertisers, brands, and platforms determine if a creators’ channel is a good fit for their audience. This can lead to increased earning opportunities from ads, brand deals, and shopping affiliate programs.
These aggregated insights will include channel statistics, audience breakdown, and YouTube Shopping affiliate program performance insights (if you are in the YouTube Shopping affiliate program). This setting is off by default, and creators have full control to turn it on or off at any time. To start, creators will need to confirm their choice to turn on the channel insights sharing setting in YouTube Studio.
- More opportunities to earn: Sharing channel insights helps third-party advertisers, brands, and platforms discover creators, potentially leading to more earning opportunities like higher revenue ads, brand deals, and shopping affiliate offers.
- Comprehensive insights: Provides holistic channel metrics across various platforms used by third-party advertisers, brands, and platforms to manage campaigns and engage with creators.
