    I was recently invited to conduct a series of 1-Day hands-on workshops on Generative AI & Prompt Engineering in collaboration with Singapore Management University. We reached over 130 industry professionals. Some of these sessions were specific to a corporation who wanted to train their employees while the public sessions had a wide range of attendees from corporate executives, military personnel, students and even retired business owners.     I was recently invited to conduct a series of 1-Day hands-on workshops on Generative AI & Prompt Engineering in collaboration with Singapore Management University. We reached over 130 industry professionals. Some of these sessions were specific to a corporation who wanted to train their employees while the public sessions had a wide range of attendees from corporate executives, military personnel, students and even retired business owners. Singapore supports professional continuing education by providing subsidies for qualified individuals to take classes like these.

    These sessions serve as a platform to raise awareness on the power & impact of Generative AI while enabling base skills on Prompt Engineering. We spent half the day discussing market trends, foundational knowledge of LLMs, AI Ethics & Responsible Practices, and discussed use-cases on compelling scenarios for Gen AI. The 2nd half of the day was entirely hands on where we dived into the nuances of Prompt Engineering, demonstrating the power of Natural Language in enabling This was also an opportunity to build a course curriculum & content and all-day workshop structure from scratch. Something I haven't done before. It was an enriching experience having to engage these professionals coming from a wide range of professions. We had attendees from IT, Risk Management, Marketing, Finance and Operations. In the public sessions, we even had retired business owners seeking to learn more about what how Gen AI can help them in their post career experiences. It was truly a rewarding and enriching experience preparing and delivering these sessions. It goes to show that one of the pathways to learning new things can come thru the process of teaching others. If any of you ever have an opportunity to deliver a class or workshop, i highly encourage it. You learn so much in the preparation and if you enjoy engaging a classroom full of curious professionals like I do, It's also fun in the delivery.
