End of June marked my final day as Group CEO of LUXASIA – a role I’ve had the privilege to hold for the past nine years. It’s a bittersweet farewell to a company that has a very special place in my heart. To Patrick Chong and the Chong family – thank you for your trust and support. Together, we have have had very impressive years of growth, digitised the business and professionally managed a family business into a Best Managed Company as recognized by Deloitte - so very proud. To the Leadership Team – you’ve been the core of this incredible journey. Watching each of you grow as leaders has been one of my greatest joys. To our 3000+ LUXASIANs – thank you for your resilience, your fighting spirit, and your passion in what we’re building. You are truly the soul of the company - our #OneTeam. To all our JV, Brand and Trade partners across Asia Pacific, Europe and the US - many thanks for your trust and dedication to push towards an omnichannel environment and experiment together along the way. As I hand over the reins to Satyaki Banerjee, I do so with full confidence. Having worked alongside Satyaki for nearly two decades, I know LUXASIA is in excellent hands for its next chapter - and I will be cheering all of you on! I will now be moving my main hub to Los Angeles to be with my family and focus on my youth mental health organization - tapouts. Having been in Asia for more than 20 years, I will stay connected and still have several business interests in Singapore and the region.
