  • Renewable carbon for battery and supercapacitor

    Developing a robust process to convert waste to carbon for battery and supercapacitor. The feedstocks evaluated are mill tailings from mining, wastewater treatment plant residual from pulp and paper industries, as well as wood waste from packaging and furniture industries.
    Evaluating the performance of carbon electrode from waste.
    Identifying the market for the activated carbon resulted from the process as well as benchmarking the carbon products.

    Analyzed the potential of biomass-based fuels to power the steel industry, prepared the key presentations and recommendations for the implementation of the technology.
    Created project plans and led meetings for the pre-preliminary study.

  • Development of flexible pyrolysis-catalysis processing of waste plastics for selective production of high value products through research and innovation

    Analyzed complex scenarios of waste plastic management and used creative problem-solving to turn the challenges into profitable opportunities.
    Organized and monitored the projects for adherence to schedule and for achieving milestones.
    Provided a system to enable the production of fuel oil with high gasoline range hydrocarbons reaching 97.72% with aromatic content of 95.85% from waste plastics.

  • Sampling and Analyzing Waste Water from Paraxylene Refinery using GC-MS

    Identified the data quality of sampling and analyzing the waste water from para-xylene refinery as well as worked to ensure the data for reporting and analysis was valid.
    Implemented standard operating procedures and workflows for reporting the analysis of waste water.
    Created a risk assessment primer and resolved varied problems regarding waste water within established policies and procedures.

  • Severe Ecology of Semi-Natural Lake

    Identified the trends of ecological parameters in semi-natural lake caused by fertilizer utilization in the upper stream of the lake.
    Analyzed the cause of eutrophication in semi-natural lake and evaluated the potential solution to inhibit further eutrophication.
    Reported the ecological parameters tracking to supervisor weekly and provided the final report and recommendation for further action.

  • Chewing Tobacco Flavor as Cigarette Substitute

    Crafted proposals for innovation solutions to substitute cigarette.
    Managed the project as well as maintained or improved the work package to determine the potential of chewing tobacco as cigarette substitute.
