In How do I adjust the Peril in PineBrook it says you can add more characters I want itPinebrook adventure to be for 5 players do I need to adjust enemies hit points and dc, and if so how?

Hello I am doing aDMing the one shot which is-shot Peril in Pinebrook however the. The game is setdesigned for 4 players, but in the oneshot, it says at one point:

If you have more than four players, they can change the names and descriptions on a duplicate character sheet so that they’ll have unique characters with similar abilities and equipment

If you have more than four players, they can change the names and descriptions on a duplicate character sheet so that they’ll have unique characters with similar abilities and equipment.

My question is that I am going to be the dm of this oneshothave never didDMed before and if. I amwant to do haveadjust the one-shot for 5 players, even though it is meant for 4 players do. Do I need to adjust the hit points of the enemies and dc, the DCs of any other eventevents, etc.?

isIs there perhaps a formula that is available to adjust automatically hitpointsadjust hit points and dc on oneshotsDCs in one-shots to the number of extra players that willmight be added if in the future)?
