This week, we’ve already come together for our team breakfast to kickstart the journey, aligning on our goals and setting the tone for what’s to come. It’s all about reflecting on our achievements, celebrating milestones, and planning ahead with clear targets for the next quarter. 𝗪𝗼𝘄! 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟮𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀! It all began on Friday with a special moment to honour our owners, Arne Timmerman, Gerbrand Verton and Wouter de Vries, followed by welcoming our business partners to the Campus in Zierikzee for a tour and a Friday afternoon get‑together. Saturday was a day to remember — a festival for all our colleagues and their families, with former colleagues joining later in the evening. It was a celebration of everything YourSurprise stands for: teamwork, passion and lots of fun. 𝗔 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸‑𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵��� 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀. A special mention for Robbies Food Service for the delicious catering, Bidfood for their help behind the bar and tasty bites, DJ Santos Suarez for providing the best tracks, Ilse Legemaate for taking the beautiful photos, Sound Delight for setting up the stage and making sure the sound was perfect, Fotohokje.nl for capturing beautiful, personalised moments, World of Drinks for the cocktail bar and warm wishes, DJ Matthijs van Mourik for lighting up the dance floor, PPM Band for keeping the party going, the organising team for making this amazing weekend a reality, and of course our owners for making it all possible. We couldn’t have done it without you. Here’s to the next 25 years — and all the moments we’ll create together!

What started as a small idea 20 years ago has grown into a company full of creativity, dedication and above all, a fantastic team. The big celebration will follow next week, when we’ll host a Summer Festival for the entire YourSurprise team. But today, we already toasted to 20 wonderful years — and to many more to come! 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 A few weeks ago, we unveiled our full rebranding and our new logo and website have been shining ever since. We’re incredibly proud of the result and thrilled by the many positive reactions we’ve received. As part of our rebranding kick-off, we also introduced our new company values – a set of principles we aim to live and grow by, together as the YourSurprise family. To truly bring these values to life, we organised a series of brainstorm sessions. Over the course of three days, 174 colleagues came together across various meeting rooms, each room representing one of our new values. There was collaboration, discussion, new ideas, plenty of laughter, games and even a few tears. There was space for everything and every single person can be proud. We're now collecting all the input from these sessions and will start working with it in the coming period. 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗼 At YourSurprise, we believe in the power of working together and the positive impact that can have, not just within our team, but also in our local community. Recently, in partnership with Allévo Zorg- en Dienstverlening, we gave our colleagues the chance to volunteer during work hours. A group of our team members took part in different activities with the resident, everything from arts and crafts, making fresh bowls, and playing games, to offering beauty treatments such as nail painting, and even enjoying the sunny weather outdoors. It was a small gesture from our colleagues, but it made a big difference for the residents. Seeing how these moments created meaningful connections and joy was truly special, and it once again showed us the importance of putting people first. We’ve already scheduled another date to continue this initiative, and we’re looking forward to doing even more for our community.

Arne Timmerman and Wouter de Vries recently attended Google Next 2025 in Las Vegas, where they immersed themselves in the latest developments in AI, cloud technology and digital transformation. What stood out most? The sheer speed at which AI is evolving – and the urgency it brings. As they shared with the team: we need to move faster. That insight sparked immediate action, leading to the formation of an internal AI taskforce focused on applying AI more broadly across our business. From smart automation to creative experimentation, we’re exploring how AI can help us work smarter, grow faster, and deliver more value to our customers. We’re energised, inspired – and ready for what’s next.

In collaboration with seven fantastic local businesses, each child visited every company to craft a unique part of the spiral — a true community effort!
