Search for templates in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for iOS
We’ve heard from many of you that you rely on templates to speed up the creation of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. So, we’ve made it simpler than ever to find the template you need! You can now search for templates by keywords.
How it works
- Open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint on your iOS device and navigate to the Create (+) page.
- To search for a template, type a keyword or phrase in the Search box at the top of the page.
NOTE: You’ll notice a small set of best matches for your search phrase. If you want to view more options, select Show More.
Scenarios to try
- In Word, type cover letter to find a template for writing a cover letter for a job application.
- In PowerPoint, search for photo albums to create a photo slideshow.
- In Excel, search for budget to kickstart your financial wizardry.
Availability
This feature is available to all Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for iOS users running Version 2.97 (Build 25053025) or later.
