🧠 Audio Research Lead / Scientist | SF or NYC | $250K+ Base + Equity

Coders Connect are hiring on behalf of an early-stage AI research company pushing the boundaries of audio data. Their mission: build the highest-quality datasets powering speech and voice models for some of the world’s leading AI labs and tech giants.

We’re looking for an Audio Research Lead to drive the R&D roadmap—leading model development, research direction, and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and operations.

📍 Location: San Francisco or New York City

🔬 What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the development of novel audio models and signal processing techniques
• Prototype research ideas and develop PoCs for major AI partners
• Design benchmarks to evaluate dataset quality
• Work at the intersection of ML research, data collection, and product

✅ What You Bring

• PhD in Audio Signal Processing or a similar technical field
• 5+ years of industry research experience
• Expertise in speech/audio ML and DSP
• Experience with dataset design and empirical data analysis
• Ability to lead research and influence product development
