On May 7, 2025, India launched Operation Sindoor, a precision military strike targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. This action was in direct response to the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack, where 26 civilians, including Indian and Nepali nationals, were killed. Key Highlights of Operation Sindoor: Targeted Strikes: The Indian Armed Forces executed 24 missile strikes over a 25-minute operation, hitting nine locations associated with militant groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed in areas including Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Muzaffarabad.
