🌱 Manisha’s journey proves: Passion paired with purpose creates powerful change. From architecture models to hydrogen burners — NPTEL shaped it all. Hailing from Chennai and studying at TNAU Coimbatore, Manisha always chased more — more learning, more challenges, more meaning. Topping her class wasn’t enough. She wanted to explore beyond textbooks. 🎯 “I didn’t need a reason. NPTEL just became a fun side quest,” she says. What began as curiosity led to 26 NPTEL courses — from sustainable architecture to patent laws — and a deep love for interdisciplinary learning. It all clicked when a course on sustainable design sparked her fascination. 🌟 Arnab’s journey shows: A thirst for knowledge can spark a research revolution. From an 8-credit requirement to Alzheimer’s research at IIT Kharagpur — this is the story of Arnab Bakshi. Hailing from Kolkata and holding a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, Arnab discovered NPTEL not just as an academic formality, but as a gateway to purpose. What started with one course evolved into a passion that led him to complete 26 NPTEL courses and 2 domain certifications. 💡 “It was a pure thirst for knowledge that propelled me forward,” Arnab says. Today, he’s a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at IIT Kharagpur, working on cutting-edge Alzheimer’s research using FTIR profiling — blending his pharmacy background with biotechnology. NPTEL helped him land 3 internships at IIT Madras and laid the foundation for his research career.
