Some conventions to follow by team members:

Prefix all functions and variables with an underscore.
Before implementing a grammatical function, add it's prototype to the corresponding .h file and add it's definition to grammar.txt file.
Before marking a task done, please test it with multiple examples.
Add TODO: comment to all incomplete implementations.
