[Traffic Results] With more than 86 million passengers welcomed, VINCI Airports network had a dynamic second quarter, recording a 6.7% increase in traffic compared to the previous year, or 5 million additional passengers. This growth was fueled by an increase in airline capacity, particularly low-cost airlines, while load factors remained high, reflecting strong demand. Long-haul routes grew the most strongly (+11%), driven by the good momentum in Japan but also by the diversification of the European hub network (Lisbon, Edinburgh, London Gatwick). 🇰🇭 Cambodia Airports, subsidiary of VINCI Airports, signed an agreement with CAIC, the owner of the new international airport located in Phnom Penh. This appointment reflects a strong vote of confidence in Cambodia Airports operational which has been operate over 30 years of experience within the country. To operate the new international Phnom Penh airport, set to open in the second half of 2025, Cambodia Airport Investment Co. Ltd (CAIC), a subsidiary of Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) a Cambodian conglomerate, selects Cambodia Airports, part of VINCI Airports network, world’s leading private airport operator. On July 6 1995, SCA/ Cambodia Airports became concessionaire of Phnom Penh airport : in 30 years, it developed the airport to multiply traffic by 20, from 300,000 passengers in 1995 to 6 million as of today. With this agreement, Cambodia Airports cements its legacy and opens the next chapters of its long story in the country. Yesterday we were thrilled to welcome the first-ever electric flight to land at London Gatwick! ✈️   Our incoming CEO Pierre-Hugues Schmit, COO Mark Johnston and members of the airport team were on site to witness the arrival of the Pipistrel Velis Elektro and meet the inspiring young pilots leading the aircraft’s journey across France and South East England in VINCI Airports Elektro Tour.     This event marks an exciting innovation in the future of flight, and we’re proud to be part of the journey as electric aviation continues to evolve.      The arrival coincides with the delivery of 47 new electric vehicles to support airport operations, a key step toward our goal of transitioning London Gatwick’s entire 300-strong fleet to electric by 2030. 🚘   This new EV fleet forms part of the airport’s wider £250m plan to reach net zero for our own (Scope 1 and 2) emissions by the end of the decade.    Whether it’s hosting Europe’s first airport electric charging forecourt or using LED runway lighting and mains power so aircraft can plug in and turn off their engines, we’re proud to play our part in advancing sustainable aviation. Well done to the two incredible pilots and good luck with the rest of the Elektro Tour. 🙌

1️⃣5️⃣ million passengers welcomed at Guanacaste Airport - LIR 🇨🇷 Part of our network since 2018, the airport has proudly welcomed its 15 millionth passenger since the terminal's opening in 2012, arriving from Houston, Texas with Southwest Airlines 🇺🇸 This milestone reflects the growing international interest in Costa-Rica and Guanacaste's unique multi-destination offer. Since joining VINCI Airports, Guanacaste airport has steadily increased its connectivity and passenger services, contributing to Costa Rica's reputation as one of Latin America’s key travel destinations. Edinburgh Airport in Scotland and Salvador Bahia Airport in Brazil, both operated by VINCI Airports, have just reached ACA 4+ in the Airport Carbon Accreditation programme by ACI World - Airports Council International.  This certification recognises airports that are not only cutting their own emissions (Scopes 1 & 2), but also actively working with their partners to reduce indirect emissions (Scope 3).   🔍 What does that mean in practice? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 At Edinburgh Airport, 1st Scottish airport to reach this level, direct emissions have been reduced by 90% since 2019. Key initiatiatives include a 9.7 MWp solar farm, SAF for operational vehicles, a green tariff energy and low-carbon de-icing solutions. 🇧🇷 At Salvador Bahia Airport, direct emissions have been cut by 89% since 2018, thanks to 2 solar power plants supplying both the terminal and cargo operations, 100% renewable energy use, and concrete initiatives to support partners in reducing their own carbon footprint - such as electrified ground handling and reduced aircraft APU use.   This achievement reflects our commitment to achieving net zero emissions for our airports within the European Union, as well as Edinburgh and London Gatwick, by 2030 (Scopes 1 & 2), and across its entire network by 2050.   Today, 60 airports in our network are ACA-accredited, including 4 at Level 5 that have already achieved net zero emissions: Toulon Hyères in France, and Beja, Madeira, and Ponta Delgada in Portugal.   To learn more: https://lnkd.in/eJzmVeqX   #PositiveMobility #VINCIAirports VINCI Concessions

Belfast International Airport unveils first phase of VINCI Airports £100M redevelopment programme!
