📣 Vallourec secures two OCTG contracts in Iraq with CNOOC and with PetroChina   The Group has secured two contracts to supply OCTG to support the drilling operations of CNOOC and PetroChina in Iraq. These contracts carry potential revenue of over $130 million.   The contracts cover the supply of carbon steel and Super-13Cr steel OCTG products with VAM®premium connections. Deliveries are scheduled throughout 2025 and 2026 to support Iraq’s increasing drilling activities.    The diversity of these projects highlights Vallourec’s unique ability to tailor its offering to the distinct technical requirements of both operators.   Iraq holds some of the world’s largest oil reserves with several super-giant oil fields that are increasingly being developed by international oil and gas companies. As a result, demand is rising for premium OCTG material that can meet the scale and technical complexity of ongoing and future projects.

Vallourec secures a large OCTG contract in Qatar 🇶🇦   The agreement, which represents over $50 million in potential revenue, includes the supply of carbon steel OCTG products with premium connections, to be delivered in 2026 to support Qatar’s increasing drilling activity both onshore and offshore.   This success builds on Vallourec’s historical presence in Qatar, where VAM® connections are widely used by all operators.   It also reflects recent announcements from Qatar-based companies to increase the country’s oil production by 19% and liquefied natural gas (LNG) production by 85% by 2030. Overall, LNG production will reach about 142 million tons per annum (MTPA).    As such, these production increases will require additional drilling and infrastructure development, creating new opportunities for Vallourec in the next years.

📣 Vallourec obtains official DNV qualification for Delphy, its vertical gaseous hydrogen storage solution, and launches commercialization.   A world first, Delphy enables the storage of 1 to 100 tons of hydrogen under maximum safety conditions. Thanks to its minimal footprint, this vertical system — extending up to 100 meters underground — meets the challenge of complex and demanding industrial environments.   It targets both green hydrogen producers and industrial players such as synthetic fuel producers (e-SAF, e-methanol), green ammonia producers, steelmakers, and refineries.   Delphy is the result of Vallourec's longstanding expertise and know-how and is based on proven existing technologies — tubes and connections — that have demonstrated excellent tightness and corrosion resistance.    We have already signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs): one with H2V for green hydrogen production and utilization projects, and one with NEXTCHEM, for green hydrogen and green ammonia projects.    Around fifty projects internationally are currently under discussion, representing potential revenue of approximately €2 billion.   Congratulations to all the teams who contribute to this project 👏   #Vallourec #Hydrogen #Delphy
