At the Ritz Paris, summertime is all about music! As an extension of our Summer Terrace on the Place Vendôme, we are pleased to open our playlist to the public, so that everyone can (re)discover our on-site experience. Vanille, the Parisian singer, songwriter and composer, has compiled her ideal playlist to take you through the summer season, featuring 15 tracks with sunny, gentle and vibrant pop tunes spanning classic French chansons, Latin rhythms, bossa nova and African blues. “The Ritz Paris embodies the timeless Paris that’s at once a refuge for writers and a temple of refinement. We share a passion for words, for celebrating beauty, the perfect gesture and emotion. For this playlist, I chose warm, luminous tracks to listen to throughout the day and become immersed in the gentleness of summer. At the Ritz Paris, summer is here and our superb terrace on the Place Vendôme will be open until the 10th of August! Welcome to the Place Vendôme: spend a moment suspended in time in the French capital’s most famous square, on our summer terrace decorated in delicate jasmine, climbing roses, mandevilla, ivy and hedges. Every day from 4pm to 9pm, the Chefs at the Ritz Paris offer a gourmet and gourmand menu brimming with summer flavors, with original, refreshing cocktails by our Wine Director Florian Guilloteau to accompany a delicious array of tapas.   A cart selling ice cream to go features surprising flavors such as strawberry-hibiscus or mango Alphonso - a taste of the Ritz Paris to take with you wherever adventure may lead through the streets of Paris. At the Ritz Paris, indulgence settles on the Left Bank. The opening of the second boutique Ritz Paris Le Comptoir at 45 Rue de Sèvres in the 7th arrondissement brings the spirit of sweetness and conviviality to another of the French capital’s best-loved neighborhoods, one favorited by writers and artists. It reprises the iconic design and codes of Ritz Paris Le Comptoir, with its large picture windows, arches, and a superb made-to-measure ceiling light. To celebrate this opening occasion, head pastry chef François Perret has dreamed up an original collection of trompe-l’oeil éclairs with, notably, a coffee-flavored one made using the Ritz Paris Le Comptoir house blend. The coffee éclair is available exclusively at our Left Bank location. Our first signature coffee blend is made using an assemblage of three types of beans that are grown in Ethiopia, Columbia, and Honduras, and were selected with care by the teams at Lomi, one of the oldest coffee merchants in Paris. Composed with uncompromising standards and the utmost respect for nature and each ingredient, the result is an exceptional feat that elevates and showcases primarily plant-based dishes. Together they have orchestrated a dining experience of unmatched refinement, set with the intimate, poetic décor of the Espadon gastronomic restaurant. A shared passion for perfumery led to a throughline of floral, vegetal, and green notes to bring freshness, while woody, slightly smoky, notes create an osmosis on the palate. At the Ritz Paris, quality of life in the workplace was in the spotlight for the fourth edition of Semaine QVTC (QWL Week).   As part of its wellness and quality of work life program, the Ritz Paris organized, for the fourth consecutive year, a QWL Week. A few weeks ago, the teams at the Ritz Group had the opportunity to participate in a wide array of activities focusing on wellness, aligned with the theme “Essential Balance for a Healthy Life". Yoga, group boxing classes, hypnosis, scalp massages, perfumery workshops and a nail bar were among the offerings focused on relaxation, recentering and sharing convivial moments. Completing the experience, in the employee restaurant Chef Jerome BERKOVITZ and his team composed an “Ideal Menu” specially conceived to align nutritional balance with the pleasures of the palate. From July 1st to August 10th, 2025, the Summer Terrace of the Ritz Paris offers a cool oasis right at the foot of the Vendôme column. In this enchanting setting, an ephemeral space showcases Parisian chic and the French art de vivre amid lush greenery unlike any other ever seen in the history of this square. Outside its front door, the Ritz Paris has dreamed up a terrace inspired by a Parisian bistro, surrounded by carefully manicured hedges, delicate jasmine, climbing roses and ivy. Here, visitors may experience a unique moment in the heart of the French capital and make the most of fine summer weather.
