🏅 One year after Paris 2024, and Paris Region is still committed to a shared and sustainable legacy  Last night, Choose Paris Region took part in the Paris Region Mayors’ Dinner organized by AMIF (Association des Maires d'Ile-de-France) – the Association of Mayors of Paris Region – to reflect on the outcomes of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games   Alongside elected officials, athletes, and economic stakeholders, our Chairwoman Alexandra Dublanche emphasized the key role played by the Region and local governments not only in the success of the Games but also in ensuring the long-term sustainability of their legacy    In 2024, the Games deeply transformed our Region: ✅ 6.6 million visitors welcomed during the Games ✅ €2.3 billion in tourism revenue generated ✅ Over 150,000 jobs mobilized or created in Paris Region ✅ 2,600 sports facilities renovated or built ✅ 100% of venues accessible via low-carbon public transportation ✅ An estimated €6.7 to €11.1 billion in economic impact by 2034   📍Paris Region was the second-largest public contributor after the State, investing over €500 million, helping to make Paris 2024 a collective, sustainable, and regionally grounded success   "We, the local authorities, are the custodians of both the tangible and intangible legacy of these Games.
