The Nagoya City Fire Bureau has ordered an Airbus H160, where it will be deployed on a range of missions, such as fire fighting, search and rescue, and disaster response operations which includes reconnaissance of affected areas. This future addition will be configured for aerial fire fighting missions, where it can be installed either with a firefighting bucket or a belly-mounted water tank, enhancing its capability to support ground crew in suppressing wildfires. As one of the world’s technologically advanced helicopters, the H160 is designed and built to deliver the highest levels of operational safety while providing unmatched comfort for rotorcraft in its class. In addition to fire fighting, the helicopter is also able to undertake wide-ranging activities including law enforcement, offshore transportation, search and rescue, private and business aviation, and emergency medical services. The H160 is also used in Japan where three units are in service – two for law enforcement, and one for news gathering work. #AirbusHelicopters #MakingMissionsPossible #H160 #FireFighting #DisasterResponse

It’s official! We are thrilled to announce that DRF Luftrettung has converted its Letter of Intent, signed at VERTICON (formerly HAI HELI-EXPO) in March, into a firm order for ten new H140 helicopters. This significant agreement marks another major step in DRF Luftrettung’s fleet renewal strategy and underscores our long-standing partnership. It builds on their long history of innovation, including being the launch customer for the first EC135 and H145, and reinforces their commitment to the future of emergency medical services in Germany. This investment is crucial for the future of air rescue in Germany, ensuring DRF is prepared for the evolving healthcare landscape. The H140 will provide: ✅ A larger cabin for enhanced on-board patient treatment. ✅ The ability to carry more advanced medical equipment. ✅ Superior performance and efficiency for critical missions. We are proud to continue our collaboration with DRF Luftrettung and support their life-saving work. These new aircraft, set to enter service from 2028, will play a vital role in providing the highest quality care to patients when every second counts. #AirbusHelicopters #MakingMissionsPossible #HEMS #AirRescue #H140
