    The prize is given - by the Danish Danish Concrete Society - every second year to a role model and frontrunner, who has contributed extraordinary to an innovative use and development of concrete. It has been awarded since 1972 and has been presented to prominent scientists, engineers, journalists and managers. In the case of Jesper, the prize is in particular given due to his key-role, innovative mindset and involvement in developing greener and more climate friendly concrete types – an effort…

    The prize is given - by the Danish Danish Concrete Society - every second year to a role model and frontrunner, who has contributed extraordinary to an innovative use and development of concrete. It has been awarded since 1972 and has been presented to prominent scientists, engineers, journalists and managers. In the case of Jesper, the prize is in particular given due to his key-role, innovative mindset and involvement in developing greener and more climate friendly concrete types – an effort which has resulted in a worldwide patent on the disruptive cement type FutureCem.

    The award committee motivates that Jesper has been selected for the award with the contribution through many years in the innovation and development of better concrete types. The committee stressed that this work has involved a strong network of partner spanning universities, research institutions, material producers, contractors, building owners and students
