CLAAS has opened a new prefabrication centre at its headquarters in Harsewinkel today. With a total investment of around 30 million euros, the project represents a significant milestone in the modernisation of the production infrastructure. A core element is the expansion of automation including new welding robots for manufacturing components for harvesters and system tractors. In addition, a comprehensive digitalisation of processes is planned in order to further optimise production and increase efficiency. Jan-Peter Bluhm, Production Manager at the Harsewinkel plant, praised the performance of the entire team involved in the realisation of the project and presented the modern spot-welding technology on the three robot systems that are used in the prefabrication centre. A particular focus in the planning of the new prefabrication centre was not least the integration of the latest energy standards: The production hall has modern insulation, heat exchangers and an intelligent lighting control system - a further contribution to sustainability and energy efficiency at the site. #CLAAS #agriculture #farming #innovation #engineering

Having a field day! #CLAAS importer Agrall hosted an unforgettable field day in the Czech Republic, showcasing over 40 cutting-edge CLAAS machines. 🌱🚜   The highlight? A fleet of 14 #XERION 12 TERRA TRACs, which turned heads both online and offline, thanks to a major recent order from the customer RHEA Holding, who also provided the space for the field day.   With a record-breaking attendance, the event featured thrilling demonstrations. The #JAGUAR preys in the #Philippines! 🌾 The first of its species in the country has officially been handed over to Aurora Premium Cattle Incorporated (APCI). They purchased the forage harvester from Grains Innovation and Solutions Co., Inc., which is the #CLAAS importer in the Philippines. APCI will use the machine to produce #silage for their cattle beef. Recently, we celebrated a festive introduction event, with a demo using freshly grown corn for the occasion! 🌽✨ With over 60 guests from CLAAS, local dairy, #biogas industries, and key government representatives in attendance, the excitement was palpable as they witnessed the JAGUAR first hand and in action. #agriculture #farming #machines #engineering #harvesting #forageharvester

Companies and #startups united in finding new ways to master production issues – this was the motto for the “PoC on the shopfloor” event, held at the CLAAS Greenhouse and organized by the it's OWL competence network of which #CLAAS is part of, and partners. The more than 50 participants dived quickly into action learning about actual use cases, exploring factors that make collaboration between companies and startups fruitful and defining the respective levers for success. Of course, the acquired knowledge had to be put into practice straight away: After an exclusive tour of the CLAAS #production, the participants developed and worked on their own use cases, which were evaluated based on #innovation potential and feasibility. The jury’s verdict was highly anticipated as the winning team was awarded a professional startup scouting opportunity from project partner Stratosfare! The prize was awarded to HAVER & BOECKER OHG.
