✨ A day to remember! As part of the Legacy for the Future project realized in partnership with adidas Foundation, a group of children had the amazing opportunity to meet the players of the Swiss National team during their training sessions⚽️ 🇨🇭 During the training session, the children got to meet their favorite players, take pictures and collect autographs, while having a moment to share unforgettable conversations. 🚀 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞? We asked #WEURO2025 players to tell us why the women's game is on the UP and not slowing down: 🇳🇴 Graham Hansen: "I think we are far from our final destination – that is what makes us unstoppable. There is still a lot of untapped potential in every team and every club, in every association. I think the development of the last ten years will hopefully go even faster in the next ten years and beyond." 🇮🇸 Sigurðardóttir: "The desire to prove to others that we are good enough, that it’s fun to watch women’s football, and that it’s fun to be a woman playing football. To show that we can go far and attract a big audience of people watching us at the stadium. You get a winning feeling by seeing a lot of people in the stands, you become incredibly proud." Summanen: "It's the joy we show on the pitch – it’s just huge and it brings the community together everywhere in the world. That's just going to keep on growing." 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Russo: "First and foremost, the people. The people that you meet along the way, the people that you play with, that you’re surrounded by – staff, team-mates, friends, family are all just so willing to give to each other. They want to work and push each other to be better." 🇳🇱 Miedema: "The support we have these days from the fans. 💪 When they're not busy organising competitions, our colleagues like doing two things: watching football and doing sports! 🚴♂️ Shout out to Rémi Decouacon & Guilhem Salomez, the creative minds behind “Hop le Tour” - a cycling adventure across Switzerland connecting all eight UEFA Women's EURO 2025 venues 🇨🇭 ⚽Over 12 stages, they’ll ride more than 900 km and climb 8,700 metres in elevation - all while celebrating the tournament and aiming to attend seven matches along the way. 🏟️ 🚴♀️But this isn’t a race - it’s a ride for fun, connection, and community. That’s why they’ve invited all UEFA colleagues to join them for one, two, or even all stages of the journey. Let’s cheer them on as they bring the spirit of #WEURO2025 to life - one pedal stroke at a time!

On behalf of the European football community, we are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Diogo Jota, Portugal international and Liverpool FC forward, along with his brother André Silva. Our thoughts are with their family, friends, teammates and all those affected by this heartbreaking loss.
