👉 What position: Senior JAVA / React developer, to design high-performance tools for our renowned clients in French-speaking Switzerland.

You have at least 10 years of experience as a developer, and as such you benefit from an in-depth understanding of software design principles.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer having at least one front end experience on React to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in Java and an intermediariry/advanced level on React, with a passion for building high-quality, scalable web applications. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining software solutions that meet our client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Develop and maintain server-side logic using Java, SPRING, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Frontend Development: Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React.js and related technologies.
• Integration: Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to integrate UI/UX with server-side logic.
• Testing and Debugging: Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality; identify and fix bugs.
• Code Review: Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of the codebase, including architectural decisions and API endpoints.
• Agile Practices: Work within an Agile/Scrum framework, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• 2+ years of experience in React.js development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Java, SPRING, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of React.js, Redux, and related frontend technologies.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with SOracle
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
