🌏 Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming delegates from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to our headquarters in Nyon, as part of our collaborative Women’s Football Programme. 🇨🇭 Representatives from various AFC member associations participated in engaging workshops and attended #WEURO2025 matches in Geneva and Sion. 📈 This visit marked a significant milestone in our partnership. In its first year alone, the programme has empowered five AFC member associations to develop and launch their first ever women’s football strategies, which were supported by funding to help bring these plans to life.

One of the ways we bring this to life is through our company-wide presentations and Q&A sessions with senior leadership. These gatherings help us stay connected, aligned, and informed, ensuring we move forward together rather than in silos.   This past Monday, we held one of these sessions, hosted by our fantastic Chief of Football Operations, Keith Dalton. It featured nine speakers covering a wide range of internal topics - from reflections on recent competitions and exciting updates on the current #WEURO2025, to the rollout of a new appraisal system and other key initiatives. 🤝 Last week, we joined Football Supporters Europe’s European Football Fans Congress to reaffirm our commitment to a more inclusive, accessible and fan-focused game. Through open dialogue with fan representatives, stakeholders and experts, we’re working together to enhance the fan experience. 🆕 A major highlight of this year’s congress is the launch of the FSE Disability & Inclusion Fan Network. The network aims to amplify the voices of disabled supporters and advocate for more inclusive and accessible stadiums. 🗨️ "We are proud of our long-standing partnership with FSE. 🎓 Congratulations to Stan Christen on completing his UEFA apprenticeship! 👏 After three years of dedication, learning, and professional growth, Stan has successfully wrapped up his journey as a UEFA apprentice. 📚 This unique programme offers young professionals the chance to gain hands-on experience across UEFA’s corporate landscape while continuing their academic studies. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore the many facets of the football industry. 💼 Under the mentorship of Victoria Heimann, our apprentices work three days a week and rotate every six months through key departments including HR, Football, Finance, UEFA Academy, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
