Safram Genas is accelerating its #energytransition! 🌿 On June, our partner Centre Ouest Céréales installed a 1000-liter B100 tank at our Genas site. This tank supplies a daily 120 km route operated by our subcontractor L’Arbresle Transport, part of the EONNET group, who already benefits from a B100 tank at Heppner Nantes. Thanks to this 100% French #biofuel, made from locally grown rapeseed, we reduce CO2 emissions by 65% on this route - avoiding approximately 10 tons of CO2 annually! This progress brings the share of Low Emission deliveries at Safram Genas to 35%. Every little bit helps… and this is the first B100 tank installed at a Safram site as part of our energy transition pact.

Fire safety: a conclusive test at Genas!💪🚀 At Safram, the #safety of our teams, our customers and our facilities is a priority. We have just taken a major step forward with a full-scale test on one of our most demanding cells at our Genas site, in accordance with the requirements of the certification bodies. ➡The result: the time taken to flood the cell (7 m high) was measured at 1 min 38, well below the regulatory threshold of 3 minutes. This performance confirms the effectiveness of the system. 💡The test was conducted in the presence of the DREAL, the SDIS and the technical partners who worked on the project for over 5 months. It was a complex project, with high technical and #logistical stakes, which required us to mobilise our teams while maintaining our activity. Well done to all those involved for their #commitment, thoroughness and collaboration in making this stage a success! 👏

Local engagement and collaboration in La Roche-sur-Foron🤝 Safram recently hosted a networking lunch at its La Roche-sur-Foron site, in partnership with the Communauté de Communes du Pays Rochois (CCPR) and several local businesses. 🎯 The objectives of this event were to: -Foster connections between local companies -Present Safram’s activities through a guided site tour led by Nicolas Noisette -Introduce the "Entrez Dans la Boucle" program, funded by the Genevois Français, which supports companies on their sustainability journey   This initiative offers expert guidance on key #CSR topics such as waste management, resource sharing, and the pooling of means and #solutions. Safram joined the program in 2024, acknowledging that this is a long-term #commitment with collective impact at its core. During the event, a Safram representative acted as an ambassador of the program, highlighting the importance of local cooperation in driving meaningful environmental transition. 🌱   A big thank you to all attendees for their valuable insights and engagement!👏

To wrap up the winter season in the best possible way, nothing beats sharing a traditional Swiss fondue! 🇨🇭 On March 31st, the operations teams at Safram Geneva gathered to keep this local tradition alive in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It was a great moment of togetherness and team spirit shared by all the colleagues. At Safram, we believe that performance also comes from the strength of the collective. 💪
