TWICE is proud to announce the inaugural class of the Powerful Women in Consumer Electronics, a new annual program created to recognize and celebrate the women who are redefining leadership, mentorship, and innovation across the consumer technology industry.
For the first time in our publication’s history, TWICE is shining a dedicated spotlight on the outstanding women whose talent, dedication, and influence help move our industry forward — every single day. These honorees lead with vision and integrity, mentor the next generation, and build stronger teams, companies, and communities.

As part of this new program, TWICE also proudly introduces Women on the Rise — a special category honoring emerging leaders whose early accomplishments, vision, and drive are already making waves in the industry. These rising stars embody the spirit of growth, resilience, and possibility that will shape what comes next for consumer electronics.

2025 Powerful Women in Consumer Electronics Honorees

Jamie Pasley
Jamie Pasley has been with JVC for over 20 years and has held various positions within several product categories. She is the General Manager of the JVC Home Theater Projector division for the USA region. Her exemplary leadership has contributed to the success of the residential home theater business. Jamie is recognized by her peers as a driving force in successfully growing not only JVC Home Theater business but also the businesses of her buying groups, resellers, and distributors. With her contributions to promotion planning, pricing, and overall business drivers, Jamie understands how to effectively drive results. Jamie is a genuine leader. She is supportive, believes in open communication, actively listens, and is open to new ideas. Her energy is contagious and motivates others to follow in her footsteps.

Ashlee Cartwright
Ashlee Cartwright is the Events Manager and Executive Assistant for Premium Audio Company. She’s been with the company since 2016. Although her work is mostly done behind the scenes, Ashlee’s kind and genuine nature and commitment ensure the brands under Premium Audio Company are always represented to the best of their ability at the various events she manages. She is the true definition of a team player, constantly going above and beyond to keep things running smoothly no matter the situation. She’s always ready to jump in and assist where she can! She is adored by her colleagues at PAC and well-respected by the industry at large.

Dawn Taylor
Dawn Taylor is the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Domestic & General, where she plays a key role in enhancing the company’s U.S. presence in the extended warranty market. Since Domestic & General’s acquisition of After Inc. in June 2023, Dawn has been instrumental in integrating After Inc.’s warranty analytics and marketing expertise into Domestic & General’s operations. Her focus on leveraging innovation has helped deliver exceptional customer experiences and expand service offerings. Before joining Domestic & General, Dawn held leadership positions that honed her expertise in business development and revenue growth. Her strategic vision and deep industry knowledge have been pivotal in strengthening Domestic & General’s capabilities, building strong client partnerships, and driving the company’s competitive edge in the warranty services industry.

Deena Ghazarian
Deena Ghazarian is a visionary entrepreneur and industry powerhouse known for transforming overlooked product categories into elevated, culture-forward experiences. But Deena’s impact goes far beyond product innovation. She is a passionate advocate for diverse leadership, a dedicated mentor to women in business, and a driving force in merging beauty, purpose, and performance in everything she touches. Her career is built on ethical leadership, an unwavering commitment to excellence, and a deep belief in empowering others to succeed. As the Founder and CEO of Austere, Deena has embarked on an entrepreneurial journey that has shaped the future of technology accessories. She is known for her unwavering commitment to blending sleek design with unmatched performance. Before founding Austere, Deena played an instrumental role in building globally recognized brands, including Monster Products, Beats by Dre (acquired by Apple), and AVAD (acquired by Ingram Micro). Her career also includes management positions at Macy’s, where she cultivated a passion for fashion and design. This diverse experience across industries sharpened her business acumen and influenced the vision behind Austere. Deena also served as Chair of the Executive Board for the Consumer Technology Association in 2024, during its 100th anniversary, where she continues to help shape the industry’s future.

Gayle Terry
Gayle Terry is an accomplished commercial leader with over 20 years of experience in financial services and utilities. Currently serving as President at Domestic & General (previously Chief Marketing Officer), she has been instrumental in reshaping the company’s warranty services, specifically within the consumer electronics sector. At Domestic & General, Gayle has led key initiatives to redefine customer strategy and drive product innovation. She oversaw a comprehensive refresh of the product portfolio, simplifying the range while enhancing customer value. Her efforts were particularly impactful in the realm of connected appliances and electronics insurance, where she introduced next-generation warranty solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s tech-savvy consumers. Throughout her tenure, Gayle has fostered a strong focus on data-driven marketing, customer loyalty, and digital transformation. Notably, she launched an advanced customer-level pricing model powered by data science methodologies and developed a five-year customer strategy. This included introducing a new Customer Charter and streamlining customer communications to boost engagement and satisfaction. Her ability to align commercial goals with customer experience has not only driven significant business growth but also cultivated a high-performance culture within her teams. Gayle’s leadership extends to influencing at the board level, paired with a robust network of industry partners. She remains at the forefront of shaping the future of warranty services in the consumer electronics sector, championing innovation and customer-focused solutions.

Jenniffer Breitenstein
Jenniffer Breitenstein is the current Chief Marketing Officer at OnPoint Warranty Solutions. Jenniffer has been in the consumer goods space most of her career. Starting at Accent Marketing and progressing through General Electric, ServicePower, and now OnPoint Warranty Solutions. She is a results-driven marketer and she is an operations and technology executive with demonstrated success in exceeding objectives and driving growth from the ground up for emerging, evolving, and established global companies. Nicole Langteau
Nicole Langteau has worked at Odyssey Toys for over 10 years and has been an integral part of their growth. Skilled in finance and building multiple sales channels, she has established herself as a trusted advisor and friend in the industry, making connections everywhere she goes.

Kathy Genovese
Kathy Genovese is a powerhouse in the consumer electronics industry and a respected voice within one of the nation’s most influential buying groups. As Director of Consumer Electronics for NATM Buying Corporation, Kathy leads strategy and vendor relations for a coalition of top-tier independent retailers that collectively represent billions in annual sales. Kathy’s role is both visionary and operational. She identifies emerging technologies, negotiates strategic partnerships with major CE brands, and helps NATM’s 11 member companies stay ahead of shifting market trends. Under her leadership, NATM has deepened its relationships with category-defining manufacturers and strengthened its reputation as a buying group that drives innovation and results. Prior to joining NATM, Kathy held senior positions with brands including LG Electronics, Hisense, and Philips, where she was a driving force in product development, merchandising, and retail expansion. Her work helped bring global technology brands into leading U.S. retailers and directly contributed to the growth of connected home and appliance categories.

Maryellen Oswald
Maryellen Oswald (or MEO as she’s known in the industry) is a force to be reckoned with, and she’s worked her way up the ladder over many years with intention and drive while navigating the male-dominated industry challenges with grace. Not only does she work hard to support the next generation and women in particular, but she also works tirelessly to build a strong network for herself, her company, and her peers. Maryellen is currently the Custom Integration & Partnerships Channel Manager at Somfy North America, responsible for managing partner programs and initiatives as well as growing the Somfy presence within the CEDIA residential channel. She has held roles in publishing, account management and is an inspiration to other women about what’s possible in the industry. Incredibly passionate about AV, smart home technology, and its seamless integration to the modern home, Maryellen is a true advocate for tech & design with deep roots in the industry.

Michelle Esgar
Michelle Esgar is a seasoned executive, brand strategist, and change driver, overseeing marketing, communications, customer insights, and experience for Panasonic’s consumer brands in the U.S. Powered by strong strategic vision, creative problem-solving and operational efficiency, her team is transforming the 100+ year old electronics giant to be data-driven and customer-centric, taking ownership of demand generation in the U.S. market and meaningfully connecting with new generations of Panasonic customers. Before joining Panasonic, Michelle co-built and managed a full-service boutique creative agency in New York City, working with hundreds of high-profile clients, including the NFL, Verizon, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, DVF, and JP Morgan. She earned her MBA in 2017 and holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

Roberta Lewis
2021 Dealerscope Hall of Fame Honoree Roberta Lewis, of Roberta Lewis & Associates, offers four decades of diverse CE expertise, knowledge, and passion in the specialty retail, custom install, manufacturing, and high-performance audio electronics industry. Ms. Lewis was elected and voluntarily served as the President of the Professional Audio/Video Retailers Association (PARA) with over 400+ U.S. retail business members from 1998-1999, and prior to that served as the group’s elected vice president (1996-98). She was the only woman appointed president. She served as a Board Director for the Progressive Retailers Organization (aka ProSource) and has been guest keynote speaker for Bose’s national sales meeting and IPRO (Independent Professional Representative Organization) annual conferences.

Ruomu Hu
Ruomu Hu is VM, GM Harman Embedded Audio. Ruomu immigrated to the USA with her family when she was 15 years old. When she arrived, she had no friends and spoke very little English. She quickly learned English and studied hard, and eventually went to Purdue, where she graduated (with Honors) with her BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She earned her Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, also with Honors. She joined Harman International in 2002 as a Sales Manager for the GM business, and in 2004, she was asked to open up Harman’s offices in China and help establish the company’s Automotive presence in the country. Ruomu continued with Harman through 2012 and went to Wipro, where she oversaw the NA Automotive Software Engineering practice for many of the OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. She rejoined Harman in 2015, where she was the Vice President for the GM account. In 2023, she moved to the Consumer Audio business, where she has been responsible for the company’s Embedded Audio business.

Theresa Alesso
Theresa Alesso is President of Sony Electronics’ Imaging Products and Solutions Americas division. In this role, she oversees Sony’s Imaging, B2B Display, Sports, and Healthcare businesses. They comprise a diverse range of products, services, and markets, including consumer imaging, broadcast, cinema, sports, live production, corporate, education, and medical applications. With more than 30 years in the electronics industry, Theresa has held a variety of leadership roles and is known for her strong P&L management and an outstanding track record of bringing new products and technologies to market. In addition, she has served as Chief Transformation Officer, driving change within the company that resulted in profitable growth while also finding organizational efficiencies. Theresa currently serves as an executive sponsor of Sony’s female-led employee network group, which focuses on professional development, volunteerism, and mentoring for women. She also supports and volunteers for charities and organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club of America and the Girl Scouts, as well as leading initiatives within her local community. In her free time, she enjoys a good book, a nice glass of red wine, and spending quality time with her family at the beach.

Andrea Seib is a culturally attuned marketing leader known for driving brand growth, creative innovation, and meaningful consumer engagement. As Director of North American Consumer Engagement Marketing at HARMAN International, she leads JBL’s high-profile campaigns and programs, building brand moments that spark conversation, drive relevance, and deliver measurable results. A strategic and collaborative marketer, Andrea blends cultural insight with business acumen to create campaigns that resonate deeply and endure. Her work continues to redefine how brands show up in culture—with purpose, creativity, and lasting impact.

Jennifer Bernards
Jennifer Bernards is a seasoned channel marketing strategist with over 15 years of global experience driving growth in the consumer electronics industry. She has built and scaled brands such as Austere, Knomo London, and SOL REPUBLIC, as well as a diverse portfolio of TargetPath clients, leading comprehensive distribution strategies and go-to-market execution across various retail channels. Her expertise includes orchestrating national merchandising rollouts, managing complex trade show activations, and developing retail account plans that consistently drive revenue and sell-through performance. Jennifer’s strategic acumen spans both B2B and B2C channels, where she has successfully launched campaigns and promotional programs that deliver measurable results. She has also led marketing communications for commercial and residential technology products at industry leaders, including Avocor, Leyard, Planar, and Runco, demonstrating her versatility across diverse tech sectors. What sets Jennifer apart is her genuine passion for entrepreneurship and emerging brands. She brings a hands-on, pragmatic approach to helping startups navigate the complexities of eRetail and go-to-market planning, often serving as a strategic advisor who helps companies avoid costly pitfalls and accelerate their path to market success. Jennifer’s industry leadership extends beyond her client work. She serves on the Consumer Technology Association Board. Currently, she serves as Vice Chair of CTA’s Entrepreneur Council, where she actively champions innovation and mentors the next generation of technology leaders.

Tara Guertin
Tara Guertin brings to CEDIA extensive years within the retail and educational industries and is excited to be using that experience to make a difference for the workforce in the CI channel. She recently took on a new role at CEDIA, heading workforce development and the new CEDIA Foundation. She was instrumental in launching the 100 Techs in 100 Days initiative, the Foundation’s first pilot program to bring in new entrants to the pipeline by offering free CEDIA education to qualified applicants.
