Tour de France 2025 🚴♂️ Did you know? During Tour de France event, an important player behind the scenes isn't a cyclist - it is milk of lime (Asphacal®BL+)! Milk of lime is used to prevent from the phenomenon of bleeding, it occurs mainly on thin surface of road such as surface dressing. When the heatwave hits hard, roads can bleed - this is when the bitumen softens, rises and sticks to the tires, causing dangerous surface damage such as potholes and icing zones. ☀ Not suitable for cyclist, isn’t it? The classic treatment of material refills causes the projection of sand or gravel, increasing the risk of skidding and leaving the road.
