• PLC programming and troubleshooting on Schneider Electric PLC
• SCADA programming and troubleshooting on Wonderware SCADA and Archestra IDE
• Assisting in Electrical Circuit Design and Proof Reading
• Collaborating and liaising with contractors in a leading role during Commissioning and Ramp Up phase
• Fault finding and problem solving
• Configuring and testing of Profibus, DeviceNet and Modbus Networks
• Coordinating and managing team of personnel which includes electricians, drafters and technicians during design, commissioning, production and shut down phases
Key achievements:
• FAT and Commissioning done ahead of schedule
• Programming and Commissioning of new modules done in parallel with full production of existing plant and very limited downtimes experienced in this respect.
• Development and Optimisation of the Thickener and Tailings operation of the project
• Programming and Commissioning of the different electrical components and instrumentation associated with Apron Feeders, Scrubbers, Conveyors, Thickeners, Pumps, Wet & Dry Screens, Cyclone Valves, Storage Tanks, Emergency Back-Up Diesel Generator and Particle Analysers
• Configuration of Sinamics Variable Speed Drives, Simocon DOL, WEG SoftStarters, Terasaki Circuit Breakers, Eaton UPS and Battery Chargers
• Optimising the Belt Filter systems, Hopper Level Balance and Process Water Balance of the circuit through appropriate PID tunning

• Acquired a lot of knowledge in process control of iron ore by working extensively with Crushers, Apron Feeders, Conveyors, Scrubbers, Thickeners and Pumps.
