RPEQs - The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) is calling on you to help shape the future of construction in Australia. As part of its work to establish a National Voluntary Certification Scheme for industry utilising Modern Methods of Construction, the ABCB has released an issues paper for public consultation—and they would like your feedback. The proposed national voluntary certification scheme is being developed to simplify the process by which prefabricated and modular housing manufacturers can demonstrate compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC). This is your chance to provide input to: -developing a National Voluntary Certification Scheme for manufacturers using modern methods of construction -establishing consistent national definitions for modern methods of construction within the National Construction Code (NCC).
