Last week, in partnership with AhlMasr Foundation, more than 40 of our Cairo colleagues did a wonderful thing – they gave blood. The Ahl Masr Foundation is an incredible charity that provides critical support by delivering urgent transfusions of plasma, red blood cells, and platelets to people in need. Their work saves lives, and we’re proud that our team could contribute to such an important cause. Meet Dr. Mahmoud Karam, Dr. Mohamed Ayman, and Ahmed Mahrous, three of our brilliant Care Center Operators from Egypt. This is their story: A member had been suffering from shortness of breath and suspected angina. In urgent situations like this, we quickly encouraged and guided the member to seek immediate medical attention. We seamlessly coordinated everything she needed, ensuring her claim was approved immediately, that she was seen promptly by the nearest healthcare specialist, and that she received the urgent medical treatment she desperately needed. The team followed this case to ensure the member was stable and recovered well, which thankfully she did. This story is a great example of going way beyond case management, and it is this level of dedication that makes us proud of what we do. We are green with pride as we announce that we’ve won 2nd place for our contributions to e-waste recycling at this year’s Emirates Recycling Awards. It’s an honour to be recognized for our ongoing commitment to environmental initiatives, having successfully recycled 758 kg of e-waste in 2024. The award ceremony, held on June 3rd at Dubai Knowledge Park, brought together representatives from acclaimed academic institutions, government bodies, private enterprises, and media outlets, making it a truly proud moment for our business. What makes this achievement even more meaningful is that it comes during June, the month we celebrate #WorldEnvironmentDay - a global reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve our planet.
